Characters
- Mary and Joseph, Speaking and optional singing, memorization required
- Wisemen. Open to boys and girls. Can be up to six (the Bible doesn't say how many were there) Reading from scrolls or memorization of simple lines.
- Lambs. Cute costumes. Non-speaking parts
Angels
- One or two Flying Angels. Each will be in one scene. Memorization of lines and no fear of heights required.
- Non-flying Angels: Choir and Vocalist parts. Memorization of lyrics preferred, but song books will be available. Music tracks and song books will be provided for home practice.
Narrators
- Voice over only and stage parts available. No memorization required. Up to six to nine narrators required.
Vocalists
- Vocal performance material from the simplest (i.e. Silent Night) to the most difficult (i.e. Mary Did You Know or O Holy Night)
- Both children and adults are encouraged to participate.
- A combination of live music and vocal tracks to perform to.
